Tango Monument

A 3.5-meter steel monument of a tango built on money of local admirers of this musical style is established In Buenos Aires capital of Argentina. The monument represents a huge harmonica used in a tango-orchestra and reminding an accordion. Official opening of a monument will takes place in one of November days 2007.

Fundraising for the monument lasted about six years.

In Buenos Aires already for a long time there are monuments to the well-known people connected with history of a tango, but a monument dedicated to a music style and dance has appeared for the first time.
